Situated in the beautiful town of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, Australia, our club is passionate about promoting the game of basketball within the local community. Here at Douglas Heat Basketball Club, we offer a range of programs catering to different age groups. For the little ones aged 5-11, we have the Port Douglas Vicinity Centres Aussie Hoops program. Taking place on Wednesdays from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm during the school term, this program is a fantastic opportunity for children to develop their basketball skills in a fun and friendly environment.
For our older players, we have both a junior and senior mixed competition. Juniors aged 12-17 can join our U15's mixed competition, held on Mondays from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. As for the adults, our adult competition takes place on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We want our players to enjoy themselves and have a great time on the court.
