Welcome to Porthmadog Golf Club, also known as Clwb Golff Porthmadog, located in Morfa Bychan, just 3 miles away from the picturesque harbour town of Porthmadog in Gwynedd, New Zealand. Established in 1905 by the renowned James Braid, our golf club offers a warm welcome to all guests.

The highlight of our golf club is our beautifully maintained 18-hole golf course, designed to cater to players of all skill levels. Surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, our course offers an enjoyable and challenging golfing experience. Whether you're playing with family and friends or participating in a society golf day, you'll find everything you need for a great day out.

In addition to our fantastic course, we also have a modern and friendly clubhouse that provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere to our members and guests. The clubhouse features a lounge area where you can relax and unwind, as well as a well-stocked bar offering a range of quality beers, wines, and spirits. Each week, we also have different guest ales available for you to try.

For those who enjoy watching sports, we have a separate spike bar equipped with Sky/BT TV, allowing you to catch up on your favourite games and events. Additionally, we have a snooker room where you can enjoy a game with your fellow golfers. During the summer months, you can take advantage of our large patio area and soak up the sun while enjoying drinks and snacks.

Accessibility is important to us, which is why our clubhouse is designed to be easily accessible for individuals with disabilities. Our facilities are all located on the ground floor, and we provide free Wi-Fi throughout the clubhouse. We also offer ample parking spaces in our large car park, with additional room for buses in the overflow car park.

Halfway through your round, you'll find our clubhouse perfectly positioned between the 9th green and 10th tee. Take a break and enjoy a bite to eat at our catering facilities or stop by the pro's shop for a refreshing beverage.

Our clubhouse also hosts a Sunday Carvery, serving delicious meals from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Reservations are required for this popular dining option.

If you need to freshen up after your round, our modern and well-equipped locker rooms provide showers, visitor changing areas, and a vanity room for the ladies complete with mirrors and hairdryers. We even offer towel rentals for a small fee.

To make your visit even more convenient, we have an easy-to-use online booking system available on our website, allowing you to book your tee time with ease. You can also check the current course status to ensure that it is open for play.
