Potton Town Cricket Club

Potton Town Cricket Club, managed by Chris Johnson, is the go-to spot for cricket players in Potton, east Bedfordshire. Known for its high standards, thanks to its Clubmark accreditation, the club nurtures talent across all ages and skill levels.

The club runs two senior teams on Saturdays. The 1st XI battles it out in Division 3A of the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League, while the 2nd XI competes in Division 2 of the Bedfordshire Invitation Saturday League. Sundays see the 1st XI in action in Division One of the Bedfordshire County Cricket League.

Winter isn’t an off-season here. The club competes in the Bedfordshire Indoor Cricket League on Sunday mornings. Notably, the 1st XI clinched the Bedfordshire Championship in 2016 and 2017 and took part in the ECB National Knockout Cup.

Youth coaching is also on offer for juniors aged 11 and up, held every Friday from 6:30pm to 8pm, run by a qualified ECB Level 2 coach. These sessions focus on inclusive and fun training for all abilities.
