Powell River Gymnastics Society is a well-established gymnastics centre located in Powell River, British Columbia. Founded in 1988 as a private gymnastics club, Powell River Gymnastics Society became a not-for-profit organization in 1999 under the ownership of a group of dedicated parents. Over the years, the centre has had various locations in Powell River before settling in the old Max Cameron gymnasium in 2005. Boasting a spacious play area of 14,000 square feet, complete with an in-ground trampoline and a foam cube filled pit, the facility provides a safe and engaging space for gymnastics, parkour, and aerial silks programs for both boys and girls.
With the aim of enriching the lives of individuals in the community through sport, Powell River Gymnastics Society's mission is to assist all athletes in reaching their fullest potential. By providing high-quality programming in a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment, the centre supports young athletes in their physical, mental, and social development through various sports programs.
