Powerplay has structured its leagues to ensure a fair and competitive atmosphere, with mini-seasons lasting 8-13 weeks. Teams play against each opponent twice per season, and matches typically run for 40 minutes. Tim emphasises that teams are placed in appropriate divisions based on their skill levels.
The club handles all logistics, from providing match officials to equipment, so players can focus on their game. Fees range between £6-£10 per player at premier venues and £4-£7 per player at standard venues. Importantly, there are no hidden fees such as joining or membership fees.
In addition to football, which includes 5, 6, and 7-a-side formats, Powerplay offers 7-a-side netball leagues. Both sports allow unlimited substitutions, making the games dynamic and flexible.
A full season spans 1.5 to 3 months, culminating in trophies for division winners and promotion for the top teams. The next mini-season starts immediately, ensuring continuous play.
