About

Joymamma is excited to announce their upcoming Pre & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training scheduled from October 2nd to October 6th, 2024. This specialised 85-hour training will be held in the serene Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Suitable for both current yoga teachers and practitioners with at least six months of prior experience, this training aims to meet Yoga Alliance standards.

The training will focus on ensuring safety and care for both graduates and the women they will be teaching. Participants will delve into the world of pregnancy yoga, birth yoga, active birth workshops, postnatal yoga, and mums & bubs yoga. The ultimate goal is to foster supportive communities where mothers can thrive.

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate from Joymamma Registered Prenatal Yoga School (RPYS), a recognition that can contribute towards becoming a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT). This accreditation signifies expertise and professionalism in the field.

Led by experienced Trainer, Carrie Jeff, the training will be conducted over five days at a private residence in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Participants will engage in face-to-face sessions, including teaching assignments. Internet access and a device capable of recording short audio and video clips will be required for certain tasks.

With a fee of $1,950 AUD, interested individuals can secure their spot by booking through the provided link. It's important to note that the training fulfils the 85-hour Yoga Alliance requirement for those looking to become a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) if they already hold a 200 or 350-hour Yoga Teacher qualification with Yoga Alliance. Other holistic practitioners, such as doulas, midwives, and childbirth educators, with a minimum of six months of prior yoga practice, can also benefit from the training to integrate the knowledge into their prenatal and postnatal support packages, even though they may not meet the criteria to teach group yoga classes or register as a Prenatal Yoga Teacher under Yoga Alliance guidelines.
