Prescott Centennial Pool

The Prescott Centennial Pool, located in Centennial Park, is a popular destination for residents and visitors alike looking to cool off during the summer months. With a stunning view of the St. Lawrence River, the outdoor swimming pool and Splash Pad offer a fun and refreshing experience for all ages.

Managed in partnership with the YMCA of Eastern Ontario, the pool offers a variety of programs for swimmers of all levels. From swimming lessons to aquafit classes, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Registration can be completed online through the YMCA website, and participants do not need to be YMCA members to register for pool programming in Prescott.

For safety reasons, a limited number of PFDs are available to borrow for those who do not have their own, while goggles and water toys are not available for loan this season. In the event of thunderstorms, rain, or other interruptions, the pool may be closed temporarily for the safety of all swimmers.

The Piranha's Swim Team welcomes swimmers aged 6 to 16 who have completed the Seal level (or equivalent) and can swim at least two lengths of the pool in any stroke. Please review the YMCA Admission Standards and Swim Test Standards before joining the team.

In addition to the swimming pool, visitors can also enjoy the Splash Pad, which offers a fun way to cool off on hot summer days. Located in Centennial Park alongside Kelly's Beach and the Playground of Angels, the Splash Pad is a family-friendly attraction with public washrooms available on-site.
