At Procter Dance Academy, we promote commitment and dedication to dance. Students are expected to attend all classes regularly and punctually. If a student is unable to attend a class due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, we appreciate notification in advance. Regular attendance and punctuality are important for the progress and development of each student.
Discipline is also valued at Procter Dance Academy. Students are expected to show respect for their teachers, classmates, and the studio space. Any disruptive behaviour or lack of discipline may result in a student being asked to leave the academy.
Procter Dance Academy has a strict dress code to maintain professionalism and ensure the safety and comfort of all students. Each class has a designated uniform which must be worn at all times. Students are required to wear appropriate dance attire and have the necessary dance shoes for their class.
Procter Dance Academy offers students the opportunity to participate in both examinations and performances. These experiences not only build confidence and self-esteem but also allow students to showcase their progress and talents. The academy has achieved excellent examination results with the Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance at both graded and vocational levels.
At Procter Dance Academy, we believe that parental involvement is crucial to the success and well-being of our students. We encourage parents to engage in their child's dance journey by attending performances, parent-teacher conferences, and being supportive in their child's practise and commitment to dance.
In addition to regular classes, Procter Dance Academy organises annual summer schools to provide students with intensive training and further opportunities to enhance their skills. These summer schools are open to students of all ages and abilities.
