Success and popularity of the dance company. It started in the original Ruxley Church Hall site in Ruxley Lane, Ewell. Since then, Protgm Dance School has continued to grow and thrive, supporting and nurturing young dancers in the Epsom and Ewell area for over 20 years.

Protgm Dance School is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for dancers of all ages and skill levels. Whether attending classes for recreation or aspiring to become a professional dancer, our passionate and experienced instructors ensure that all students have fun while maintaining a high professional standard.

The dance school offers a variety of classes to cater to different interests and styles. These include Protgm Youth Dance Company, Junior Company, Street Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Arts Award, Boys Street/Break Dance, and Adult Class. The school is proud to offer IDTA exams and holds exam sessions throughout the year, as well as performance presentation events where dancers can showcase their skills to their families and receive certificates and awards.

Protgm Dance School also provides performance opportunities for its students. The school's Senior Dance Company has had the privilege of performing on stage with the original show video version playing behind them, creating a unique and memorable experience for both the dancers and the audience. Additionally, the school organises annual recitals, such as the upcoming 2023 Christmas Recital, where students can showcase their talents and celebrate their hard work and achievements.

The name “Protgm” is a combination of “Protg” and “Gemma. ” It signifies that the dancers at the school are like “mini” versions of their teacher, Gemma. The name reflects the nurturing and supportive atmosphere that the school aims to provide to its students. With over 20 years of history and a commitment to excellence, Protgm Dance School is a place where dancers can develop their skills, explore their passion for dance, and create lasting memories.
