Clever Creatures, the dog sports club in Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale, is thrilled to invite interested players to their upcoming event, Puppy's 1st Class. This class is specifically tailored for puppies between the ages of 8 and 11 weeks, providing them with a fun and educational experience.
To ensure the best experience for your furry friend, it is highly recommended to book the 4-week course in advance. This allows the puppies to settle into their new homes for about 10 days and receive their first or second vaccination before starting the classes. The focus of these classes is on developing social skills, building confidence, and introducing basic training techniques, all of which are crucial during the critical socialisation period for puppies (before they reach 16 weeks of age).
It's important not to wait too long to enrol your puppy, as this period of time is vital in their life and plays a significant role in their healthy development. Prior to attending the class, it would be beneficial if your puppy is already accustomed to wearing a lead and collar.
The classes take place in a lovely outdoor setting at a private rural property in Oldbury, specifically on Anderson Rd. We kindly ask participants to make advance bookings to secure a spot on their preferred day. Currently, Puppy's 1st Class runs on both Saturday and Sunday mornings, with each course spanning 4 weeks. The class size is kept at a comfortable range of 4 to 6 puppies, ensuring individual attention for each participant. Each session lasts for 40 minutes, and the whole family is more than welcome to join in on the fun and learning!
Once your booking is confirmed, important details and instructions will be sent to you via email. Please note that classes run regardless of weather conditions. However, in the event of a cancellation, participants will be promptly notified.
