Introduction to yoga was purely physical, as I was looking for a way to maintain my fitness and flexibility.
However, over time, my practise evolved, and I began to appreciate the mental and emotional benefits of yoga as well. Yoga became a way for me to find balance and peace in my life, and I wanted to share this with others. This led me to become a certified yoga instructor and start my own yoga studio, purebalance Yoga.
At purebalance Yoga, we offer a range of different yoga styles to cater to the diverse needs of our students. From dynamic vinyasa flow yoga to the more meditative yin yoga, as well as prenatal and postnatal yoga for women, we have something for everyone. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified teachers who are passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with others.
One of the core beliefs at purebalance Yoga is that yoga is not about being flexible. We believe that everyone can practise yoga, regardless of their current level of flexibility or fitness. In fact, one of the many benefits of regular yoga practise is increased flexibility. But beyond that, yoga is a journey of self-discovery.
Each person's journey with yoga is unique, and for me, it started as a physical practise and later became a way to find stillness and relaxation in my life. This shift in experience can happen at any time, and when it does, yoga becomes a way of life. It is a practise of mindfulness and living in the present moment, non-judgmentally.
As the founder of purebalance Yoga, I am dedicated to helping others discover the transformative power of yoga. With my background in sports science and nutrition, I bring a holistic approach to my teaching. I understand the importance of maintaining a healthy body through both nutrition and exercise, and I incorporate these principles into my yoga classes.
