Putton Mill Golf Driving Range provides a peaceful setting for golfers to practice and improve. Located a mile south of Duns, it’s surrounded by the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside.

The range has 8 covered bays, protecting you from the elements, with a teaching bay for professional instruction and a practice bunker for sand play skills. Spanning 300 yards, the range offers ample space for long shots and distance control, with quality mats and balls available.

Prices are fair – 50 balls cost £4. The ball dispenser accepts 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, and £2 coins, so bring the correct change.

Opening hours vary by season. In summer (April to September), it’s open Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday 12:00pm to 7:30pm, and weekends from 9:00am to 5:00pm. In winter (October to March), the hours are the same, except on Fridays, closing at 4:30pm. Floodlights can be turned on for evening sessions upon request at the gym reception.

Note there’s no change or club hire available, and no toilet facilities at this time. Apologies for any inconvenience.
