Queen Camel Cricket Club

Queen Camel Cricket Club is a well-established cricket club located in Yeovil, Somerset. With over 40 senior and 30 junior fixtures for the coming season, the club offers a vibrant and competitive cricketing experience for players of all ages and skill levels.

The club boasts two senior sides that compete in the SCL (Somerset Cricket League) and MWL (Mid-Wessex League), as well as a mix of 40 Over and T20 friendlies. This provides ample opportunities for players to showcase their talent and develop their skills in a competitive environment.

In terms of youth cricket, Queen Camel CC offers coaching sessions and league games for children in the U8, U10, and U12 age groups. The coaching sessions for the U8s and U10s take place from 1700 to 1800, while the U12s' session is scheduled from 1815 to 1915. League games for the U10s and U12s are held on Sunday mornings and Monday evenings, respectively.

The club is currently looking to recruit a total of 48 children from academic years 2 and 3 for the U8s, years 4 and 5 for the U10s (now full), and years 6 and 7 for the U12s (now full). Both boys and girls are welcome to join, and a waiting list will be operated if the demand exceeds the available spots. The youth sessions are led by an ECB Level 2 coach and assisted by ECB Level 1 coaches, ensuring that players receive top-quality coaching and guidance.
