Welcome to Queenstown Gymnastics Club, the only fully equipped gym in the Wakatipu region that is community focused. Our gym features a sprung floor and all the necessary apparatus for both men's and women's artistic gymnastics (MAG & WAG). We pride ourselves on offering a range of recreational and competitive programmes suitable for children as young as 3 years old, all the way to adults of any age.
At Queenstown Gymnastics Club, we believe in providing quality coaching in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Our goal is not only to ensure that our members have fun, but also to instil discipline and promote progression in their gymnastics journey. We are an incorporated society registered as a charity and are proud to be affiliated with GymSports New Zealand (GSNZ), which endorses all our programmes.
Our competitive team participates in various gymnastics events and competitions, representing our club with pride. We offer training and coaching in women's artistic gymnastics, including events such as vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. Our coaches are dedicated to helping our athletes develop the necessary power, technique, and skills required for each event, while also focusing on release and regrasp elements, elegance, flexibility, balance, and self-control.
For those interested in recreational gymnastics, we offer a variety of classes tailored to adults. Whether you're looking to improve your strength and flexibility or simply want to give gymnastics a try, our adult classes cater to individuals of all skill levels. Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the different apparatus and skills, helping you develop and improve at your own pace.
