Julie, the organiser from Raans Gymnastics Club, wants to share a quick note with the sports community. The club is at the Chiltern Lifestyle Centre in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, and it's open to gymnasts of all abilities, starting from age 5, both boys and girls.
The coaches at Raans are qualified by British Gymnastics. They focus on helping each gymnast reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment. The club has loads of equipment like bars, beams, vaults, rings, pommel horses, trampolines, and air tracks, so there's plenty for everyone to practise on.
Apart from fitness, the gymnasts work on their strength, stamina, balance, coordination, and flexibility. They also develop self-confidence and performance skills during their sessions.
Gymnasts who train hard and reach intermediate and advanced levels can represent the club in competitions and may even get selected for display teams, club competitions, and county and regional squads.
Raans Gymnastics Club is a non-profit and an independent organisation. It's a registered charity (Charity Number: 1164624) that has been providing gymnastics opportunities to kids in the Chiltern District and South Bucks area since 1982.
