Our instructors are fully qualified and trained in CPR and first aid. We also have lifeguards on duty during all classes and crash courses. In addition, the swimming pool at Whyteleafe School is regularly checked and maintained to ensure a safe and clean environment for our swimmers. Swimming is a life skill that every child should learn, and we are passionate about helping children become confident and safe in the water.

Our small class sizes and high teacher to child ratio allow us to provide individualised instruction and attention to each child. Whether your child is a beginner or looking to improve their strokes and stamina, our experienced instructors will be there to guide them every step of the way. We also have close ties with South Croydon Swimming Club, offering opportunities for children to further develop their swimming skills and potentially join a competitive swim team. Rachel Wootton and Mariana Tortev, the founders of Rachel Wootton Swim School, are both professional swimmers with a wealth of experience.

Charlotte and Honey, two of our instructors, started their swimming journeys at our school and have now become valued members of our teaching staff. Our helpers Holly, Violet, and Neli are still actively involved in swimming and have a deep passion for the sport. Neli is currently pursuing her swim teachers course and Holly will be starting hers soon. At Rachel Wootton Swim School, we offer swimming lessons for children aged 2 years and above.

Our classes are held during term time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We also offer super-intensive 2- or 3-day crash courses throughout the year, catering to different abilities from age 3 years. These crash courses provide a whole hour in the pool with a maximum of 5 children per class, allowing for focused and intensive learning. We are located at Whyteleafe School in Whyteleafe, Surrey.
