RACQUETEERS Badminton

Matches) is on Friday evenings from 7. 30pm till 9. 30pm at Simon Langton Boys School in Canterbury. This session is for club members who are interested in playing in league matches and improving their competitive skills.

If you are interested in joining the league squad, please speak to one of our committee members to discuss your suitability and availability.

We also have a junior club for players aged 8 to 18. Our junior clubs are held in Canterbury and Wye, and they provide a fun and safe environment for young players to learn and develop their badminton skills. Coaching is provided by qualified coaches, and sessions focus on improving technique, footwork, and tactical play. The cost for juniors to attend our club nights is 4 or 5 per session, depending on the location.

Racqueteers Badminton Club provides feather shuttles for our doubles matches. If you don't have your own racquet, don't worry, as we can supply one for you to use during the sessions. We ask that you wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement, and it is important to wear sports shoes with a good grip. Please note that shoes with black soles are not allowed on the court.

Membership for Racqueteers Badminton Club is 40 per year, and this includes membership to Badminton England and Kent Badminton, providing access to offers, newsletters, and public liability insurance. The price for each session is 5 or 6 for adults, and 4 or 5 for juniors, depending on the location. Your first session with us is free, so you have the opportunity to try it out before committing to membership.
