Radcliffe Athletic Club has a rich history, being established over 40 years ago. Throughout its existence, the club has been dedicated to providing quality training, support, and encouragement to runners of all abilities. The club prides itself on offering a warm and welcoming environment, where members can not only improve their running but also forge lasting friendships with like-minded individuals.

One of the standout features of Radcliffe Athletic Club is the wide variety of training sessions available. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned competitor, there is something for everyone. On Monday evenings, the club offers 5/6. 5 km and 10 km group runs, catering to different ability levels and personal preferences.

Each group is led by a qualified run leader who provides guidance and support throughout the session.

Wednesday evenings are dedicated to track work or hill sessions, with the training focus alternating each week. Additionally, the club offers strength and conditioning sessions on both Mondays and Wednesdays at 7 pm, allowing members to improve their overall fitness and endurance. All training sessions take place at Close Methodist Church, Dumers Lane, Radcliffe, providing a convenient and easily accessible location for club members.

In addition to regular training sessions, Radcliffe Athletic Club also organises a range of events, races, and competitions throughout the year. From championships and leagues to relay races, there is always something to challenge and motivate members. The club's events calendar is regularly updated to keep members informed of upcoming races and competitions.

If you're looking to join Radcliffe Athletic Club, simply come down to Radcliffe Leisure Centre (formerly Riverside School) on Mondays or Wednesdays at 7 pm. Sessions typically run for around an hour, with a combination of training runs, speed work, and circuit training in the gym. Regardless of your fitness level or running experience, all abilities are welcome. If it's your first time, aim to arrive around 6.
