James Brooks, the founder and lead golf instructor at Ready Golf, has a rich background in the golfing industry. He started working in the Pro Shop at Beauchief Golf Club in February 2016, gaining valuable experience at a busy municipal golf club. He later joined Hallamshire Golf Club in 2017, where his game quickly progressed, leading to him working in their Pro Shop in February 2018. James was subsequently accepted to the PGA Foundation Degree in September 2018.
After three years of coaching people of various ages and abilities at Hallamshire, James felt the need for a change and decided to leave in May 2021 to pursue a playing career. He participated in events across the UK on tours such as the 2020 Pro Tour, Jamega Tour, and Clutch Pro Tour, experiencing success in his playing career. However, with the arrival of the cold UK winter, James decided to open his own coaching studio and launched the Ready Golf brand.
Despite focusing on coaching, James still aims to participate in golfing events throughout the year, and his results will be regularly updated on the Ready Golf website. As a professional coach with over 11 years of golfing experience, James brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his instruction at Ready Golf.
