John, the organiser, wants to share some handy info about the Redfield Centre with the sports community.
Nestled in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, the Redfield Centre is an eco-friendly spot for holidays and courses. It's located in the old stable and coach house at Redfield Community, offering a calm retreat.
The centre can house up to 20 people overnight or seat about 30 for day events. For yoga and meditation weekends, John suggests smaller groups of up to 16 to ensure everyone has enough room to stretch out. Each booking gives access to a heated classroom/yoga space/function room.
There’s a sunny courtyard with picnic tables and benches for those summer meals. The spot also boasts a handmade BBQ and firepit, with firewood up for grabs. For more peace and quiet, there's a private wooded area perfect for meditations and campfires.
Prices start at £28 per person per night with a minimum weekend rate of £560, based on 10 people. Even if fewer folks turn up, that rate holds. For instance, 15 guests for Friday and Saturday nights come to £840, and 20 guests total to £1,120.
During school holidays, the centre is set aside for family and friends, with premium rates applying. Bookings for these times can be made on [Vrbo](https://www.vrbo.com/en-gb/).
A few things to bear in mind: weekend bookings are from 4 pm Friday to 4 pm Sunday, but longer weekends can be arranged. The centre is self-catered, so no B&B services are provided. It's a working farm, so there might be occasional farm noises, but silent arrangements can be made if needed. Note, pets aren't allowed.
The centre’s income supports local jobs and facility improvements, and many guests have rated it highly, calling it “absolutely fantastic” and keen to return.
For directions, avoid Great Horwood Road as Google Maps suggests. Instead, enter via the driveway on the A413, opposite the new school and Furze Lane.
