Centrally located on Abram Lake, Red Pine Lodge is an ideal starting point for exploring the many nearby lakes and waterways, including Minnitaki Lake, Botsford Lake, Sturgeon River, Pelican Lake, Lac Seul, and more. Exciting news for 2024 - Ryan and Marissa, along with their children Vaughn, Luke, and Quinn, have taken over ownership of Red Pine Lodge from John and Alina. Having previously lived in Cabin #1 at the lodge and with experience running Slate Falls Outposts, the new owners are eager to continue the tradition of great hospitality and exceptional fishing experiences. They are already looking forward to welcoming guests old and new to the lodge and building on the strong relationships formed over the years.
Please note that fishing licenses will not be available for purchase at the lodge this year, but can easily be obtained online or at sporting goods stores once in Canada. Red Pine Lodge is a small drive-in fishing resort with five modern cabins, located on the north shore of Abram Lake just south of Frog Rapids. You'll find great docks and an on-site boat launch, and we can help if you don't have a boat.
Sioux Lookout is about five minutes east, with the conveniences you'd expect in town. We're also centrally located on Abram Lake, with nearby access to areas like the chutes into Minnitaki Lake.
Yes, our Bunkhouse cabins are mainly used by fly-in guests heading up to one of our outpost cabins at Slate Falls Outposts. Marissa and Ryan are ready to help plan your next getaway if you have questions after exploring the options.
