Welcome to Reel Fishn! Reel Fishn is a fishing charter based in Tweed Heads, operating in the Tweed River. We offer a family-friendly deep sea fishing experience, covering waters in the east of Queensland and the New South Wales border. Our charters cater to both experienced and first-time fishermen, providing a fun and exciting fishing adventure.
Our boat, the Reel Fishn 37, is a twin hull with twin engines, powered by 2×315hp turbo diesels. It has a cruising speed of 25 knots and a top speed of 30 knots. The boat can accommodate up to 12 passengers and 2 crew members. Equipped with safety gear, a full overhead canopy from the cabin to the aft, GPS and fish finders, and comfortable seating, our boat ensures a safe and comfortable fishing experience.
Additionally, it features a private toilet inside the cabin and stainless steel safety rails all around. We are fully insured with public liability insurance and possess a charter fishing licence (CFB22252).
With 18 years of fishing charter experience and over 40 years of fishing experience, the Reel Fishn team is highly knowledgeable and skilled in deep sea fishing. We offer various fishing types such as trolling, lure, jigging, fly, and live baiting. We can also provide fishing excursions on the Tweed River, targeting estuary fish. If you are not familiar with bait and tackle, we will teach you how to use them.
At the end of the trip, as a bonus, we will clean your fish for you.
Preserving the water ecosystem is important to us, so we adhere to size and catch regulations. If you prefer catch and release, we are more than happy to assist you in that as well.
We offer different charter packages to suit your preferences. Our half-day charter lasts for 5 hours and costs $220 per person. Light refreshments and snacks are provided, and you are welcome to bring your own. Our three-quarter day charter lasts for 8 hours and costs $300 per person.
It includes lunch, plus light refreshments and snacks. Full-day or overnight charters are available upon request and can be tailored to your time frame. When booking within 2 weeks of the charter, full payment is required. Cancellations within 7 days will not be refunded, except in cases where the charter has been cancelled or postponed due to unsuitable or dangerous weather conditions.
