About
The Regina Rowing Club welcomes individuals of all ages and skill levels to join their year-round competitive and recreational programs. From learn-to-row beginners to experienced rowers, the club offers a variety of programs to suit every individual's needs and goals.
Indoor training at the Regina Rowing Club focuses on building fitness, strength, and flexibility to prepare members for indoor races during the winter months and on-water rowing during summer. Personal goals related to fitness and competition are discussed with coaches, and members have the opportunity to train for virtual events if desired.
Membership options include programs for youth, open, and high performance members, with tailored training schedules based on individual goals. The club also offers drop-in punch passes for those interested in attending specific classes.
For those new to rowing, the club's Learn to Row programs provide a comprehensive introduction to the sport. Starting with erg sessions to learn the basics of the rowing stroke, participants progress to on-water training in stable vessels to gain confidence and improve technique.
Youth rowing day camps and High School Development & Junior Development programs offer opportunities for younger rowers to learn and improve their skills in a supportive environment. The High Performance Program is aimed at experienced rowers looking to train and compete at a more competitive level.
