Welcome to Reynella Rides, a top horseback riding service, bed & breakfast, and horse riding field located in the beautiful town of Adaminaby in New South Wales. Known as the “granddaddy of all riding establishments” by Julie Miller of the Sun Herald, Reynella Rides offers an unforgettable experience in the stunning Kosciuszko National Park.

Reynella Rides is deeply saddened by the passing of John Rudd OAM, a true legend and inspiration to many. John had a lifelong love for the high country and spent over 52 years running Reynella with his wife Roslyn by his side. His knowledge and passion for the mountains were unmatched, and he will be greatly missed by the countless individuals he shared his beloved mountains with.

Sadly, with the passing of John, the rides at Reynella Rides have come to an end. For over five decades, Roslyn and John welcomed guests from far and wide to explore the country that inspired Banjo Patterson's iconic poem “The Man from Snowy River”. The horseback safaris offered a wilderness experience that guests would remember forever, and many returned for multiple visits. The friendships formed during these rides are a testament to the unforgettable experiences provided by Reynella Rides.

Guests at Reynella Rides had the opportunity to traverse mountain plains, encounter brumbies up close, and relax around a cosy campfire in the evenings. With well-trained horses and reliable mountain equipment, including roomy tents and comfortable mattresses, guests were treated to warm hospitality and hearty mountain meals. Hot breakfasts, picnic lunches, and delicious dinners were a highlight of the experience.
