The founder and head coach of RFPerformance, Rachel Finlay, has a true passion for football. With years of experience playing at the highest level of domestic football in New Zealand, Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her coaching. She holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Exercise and Sport Science, and ASCA Level 1 qualifications. Rachel is also currently working towards her coaching badges, further enhancing her coaching skills.

Rachel's passion for football and coaching has seen her work with various teams and players. She has worked with the New Zealand U17 women's team at the World Cup in Uruguay, where they achieved a remarkable 3rd place finish. Rachel has also worked with Tasman United in the ISPS Handa premiership, North Wellington FC in their first season in the Central League, and Central Football and Capital Football National Women's League. Additionally, she has conducted numerous 1-on-1 and small group sessions with youth and elite footballers.

RFPerformance offers 1-on-1 training sessions with head coach Rachel Finlay. These individualised sessions allow players to receive personalised attention and work on specific areas that they need extra assistance with. The sessions aim to maximise the number of touches players get on the ball, focusing on technical skills and overall game improvement. Sessions can be booked individually or as part of a package.
