Rhondda Swimming Club

Rhondda Swimming Club, located in Ystrad, is the leading competitive swimming club in the Rhondda area. With a membership of around 150 swimmers, we offer training opportunities in five different pools across Ystrad, Maerdy, Porth, Pontypridd Lido, and Cardiff International Pool.

At Rhondda Swimming Club, we cater to swimmers who have completed wave 5 of the Swim Wales Learn to Swim Framework (or equivalent) and are looking to further their enjoyment of swimming by competing. Our swimmers are organised into training groups and regularly participate in open meets that are fiercely contested. We also enter friendly club galas, where the competition remains just as keen.

Prospective members and aspiring athletes are warmly invited to request a free trial assessment to experience what our swimming club has to offer.
