Founded in January 2000, Rhythm & Dreams Dancing Centre has earned a stellar reputation in Hull, East Yorkshire. While specialising in Latin and Ballroom dancing, they also offer Old-Time, Swing, Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, and Argentine Tango classes. Whether you're aiming to dance at a special event, keep fit, or socialise, the centre opens its doors to all ages and skill levels.
Classes at Rhythm & Dreams are designed for everyone, with a pay-as-you-go system eliminating the need for membership fees. The school’s adaptable teaching approach encourages all dancers to reach their potential. Regular award sessions help track progress and boost confidence.
Located at The New Empress Ballroom on Hessle Road, the centre provides a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The venue includes comfortable settings, a lounge, a bar with non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, a sprung oak floor, plenty of spectator seating, and a secure, adjacent free car park monitored by CCTV.
In 2021, Rhythm & Dreams Dancing Centre was awarded Small Business of the Year for Hull West & Hessle, a testament to their excellence in business. Backed by Vicki Smith’s extensive experience and a team of qualified teachers, the centre is fully insured and accredited by OFQUAL and the IDTA.
The school offers flexible pricing: adult classes at £7.50 per session, children's classes ranging from £4.50 to £6.50, private lessons starting at £18 for children and £19 for adults, and group lessons at £9.50 per person or £19 total, whichever is higher.
Vicki, the principal, became a Latin dance examiner in 2006 and an examiner in other dance styles in 2007. Her dedication and expertise have made Rhythm & Dreams Dancing Centre a top choice for dance enthusiasts in Hull.
