Welcome to Richmond Sub-Aqua Club (RSAC), the top diving centre and SCUBA tour agency in Richmond, New Zealand. Established in 1986, RSAC is Branch no. 1489 of The British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), the leading governing body of scuba diving in the UK. With nationally qualified and BSAC-accredited instructors, we offer top-notch scuba training and internationally recognised certifications.

At RSAC, we cater to divers of all levels of experience and expertise. Whether you're a beginner looking to try diving for the first time or a certified diver wanting to advance your skills, we have a range of programmes and courses to suit your needs. Our friendly and knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the learning process, ensuring your safety and enjoyment every step of the way.

For those curious about scuba diving, we invite you to book a try dive with one of our instructors. Priced at 20, this introductory session allows you to experience the thrill of diving in the safety of a swimming pool. Our equipment team will provide you with all the necessary scuba gear, and your instructor will give you a thorough briefing on underwater communication and equipment usage. Just bring your swimwear, a towel, a T-shirt to wear in the water, and if you prefer, your own wetsuit and something to tie back your hair.

Try dives take place on select Wednesday evenings at Pools on the Park in Richmond, conveniently located near Richmond Station and with parking available. To ensure your safety, we ask you to sign a medical and responsibility declaration prior to the try dive. The minimum age requirement for try dives is 12 years, and if you're under 16, you must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

For those looking to pursue scuba diving further, RSAC offers the opportunity to become a BSAC certified Ocean Diver. With a cost of 235 plus a membership fee, this comprehensive course will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to explore the depths of the ocean. Already a certified diver? We also provide training for the next diver grade or the chance to learn new dive skills.
