Riding for Disabled

Welcome to Manawatu RDA, a Horse riding school in Feilding and an affiliate of New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA). With over 50 other organisations around Aotearoa, we are all registered charities, meaning there are tax benefits when donating to us.

The kaupapa (purpose) of RDA involves providing goal-based riding activities that increase the ability, strength, and confidence of people with physical, intellectual, emotional, and social challenges. It's important to note that disability in this context includes any special needs, not just physical disability. Our main focus is to make a positive difference in the lives of our riders.

Our vision is to reach more riders and change more lives. To achieve this effectively and sustainably, we rely on the support of our community on multiple levels. We are grateful for major supporters and sponsors, and for the continuous efforts of our volunteers, without whom none of this would be possible.

At Manawatu RDA, our riding sessions are tailored to the individual needs and goals of our riders.
