Ridlins Athletic Track

Ridlins Athletic Track, located in Stevenage, is the home of the Stevenage and North Herts Athletics Club (SNHAC). The track is a fully inclusive facility catering to aspiring athletes from the areas of Stevenage and North Hertfordshire.

With its strong sense of community involvement, Ridlins Athletic Track has been serving athletes for over 50 years. The track provides a range of opportunities for individuals of all ages, from children to adults, students, and school children, who are interested in running, jumping, or throwing.

SNHAC's main goals are to develop and promote physical activity and positive social interactions for children and young athletes through training and competition. By encouraging increased involvement from residents, organisations, and groups in the local community, the club also aims to support the community. Additionally, SNHAC strives to increase self-esteem and reduce the likelihood of children participating in anti-social behaviour.

The track operates training sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 6. 30 pm to 8 pm. SNHAC welcomes aspiring athletes who are in year 4 and above, and have had their 9th birthday. Limited spaces are currently available in all training groups.

Interested individuals can contact the club with their name, school year, and events they are interested in. Trials will be offered accordingly. For individuals under 18, applications must come from a parent or someone who has parental responsibility.

Ridlins Athletic Track provides a safe environment for athletes to train and compete. The club promotes a strong commitment to safety and has codes of conduct in place for members, as well as important information regarding track safety. The track's safety measures ensure that all athletes can participate with peace of mind.

SNHAC is proud to be sponsored by A1 German Car & Bike Specialists, an independent BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW service and parts centre in Stevenage. The club is also affiliated with various leagues and provides a comprehensive list of fixtures, coach times, and training information on their website.
