Riverland Family Park

Riverland Family Park is an awesome spot for sports players and thrill-seekers alike, sitting right by the Whanganui River next to Kowhai Park. Run by John, this place is perfect for some outdoor fun and group sports activities.

John’s got a stack of action-packed activities on offer. Kids aged 7 to 10 can have a blast on the Club Karts, while older kids and adults can race around on the speedy Action Karts. Plus, there are Double Go Karts for adults to ride with littlies under 7.

If you're looking for something a bit more chilled, check out the 18-hole Miniature Golf course. It’s a great challenge for all ages and skill levels. Want to explore on two wheels? John's got Bicycle Hire and even E Bikes for a fun cruise around the park.

One of the big hits is the Bungy Trampoline. Perfect for kids weighing between 10kg and 60kg, it's a safe way for them to enjoy bouncing around. Just remember, closed shoes are a must for the Club Karts and Bungy Trampoline.

John and his team also welcome group bookings for school trips, birthday parties, business shindigs, and team-building events. Safety's a top priority, so make sure to check out the park's Safety Policy before you go.

Riverland Family Park is open all year round, with specific hours depending on the season. Swing by during winter from Tuesday to Friday, 12pm to 4pm, and weekends from 11am to 4pm. In summer, the park is open weekdays from 12pm to 5pm, and weekends from 10am to 5pm. They also take advance bookings.
