Riverside Fit Park

Riverside Fit Park, located in Courtenay, offers a unique outdoor workout experience. The park features new and updated equipment, with a variety of stations including an elliptical machine, chest press, balance step, and more. The Fit Park is open to all age groups but is especially geared towards the life-long needs of older adults. Situated conveniently downtown, across from the Florence Filberg Centre, the Fit Park is easily accessible for those looking to stay active and healthy. It is located near the hub of many older adult programs and the Evergreen Club, making it a central location for fitness enthusiasts.

Courtenay Recreation Fitness Staff are hosting a FREE ORIENTATION on Friday, October 27 from 12 noon to 1 p. m. This event is open to everyone, where staff will be on-site demonstrating equipment and answering questions. Water and light snacks will be provided during the orientation.

The Fit Park aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals looking to improve their fitness levels and overall well-being.
