Riwaka Croquet Club

The Riwaka Croquet Club is located in the picturesque town of Riwaka, New Zealand. Nestled near the base of the stunning Takaka Hill, the club is situated on the historic Riwaka War Memorial Reserve. With a rich history dating back to 1925, the Riwaka Croquet Club prides itself on providing a welcoming and friendly environment for players of all ages and skill levels.

The club features two meticulously maintained lawns, which have been in use since 1928. Visitors are warmly encouraged to come and try their hand at croquet, with the first three visits to the club being completely free of charge. Registered members from other clubs are also welcome, with a nominal fee of $5 per session. This allows members from other clubs to engage in friendly competition and enjoy the lovely surroundings of the Riwaka Croquet Club.

The club offers regular formal playing days, catering to both Golf Croquet (GC) and Association Croquet (AC). For GC, members can participate on Mondays from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 1pm to 4pm (NZDT), Wednesdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm, and Fridays for singles from 9:30am to 12:30pm. During the winter months (NZST), morning sessions begin at 10am, starting 30 minutes later than usual. AC playing days are held on Wednesdays from 1pm to 4pm and Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm.
