RKA Kickboxing Academy is a renowned martial arts school located in March, New Zealand. RKA Kickboxing Academy was formed by CEO Stuart and Chief Instructor Paige, who wanted to bring their own individual style of sport kickboxing to their home town. Along with Senior Instructor Paul, they offer a range of dedicated classes. They have a juniors-only class for ages 3 to 14, a popular family class where all family members can train together and enjoy getting fit, and dedicated ladies-only and adult-only classes.
For more advanced competition fighters, RKA operates a Friday night boot camp that focuses on fitness, drills, and sparring to ensure that their competition team is well-prepared for competitions. The academy has a team of experienced instructors who guide students to reach their desired goals. Whether it's trying something new with the family, working on confidence and fitness, or aspiring to become a champion, RKA Kickboxing Academy is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals.
The academy is conveniently located at Units C3 & C4, March Enterprise Park, Thorby Avenue, March, PE15 0BD. To get to the academy, individuals can head towards Tesco/B&M and at the roundabout, go straight across. Thorby Avenue is the first left after the roundabout, and the academy is situated in the first block of units on the left-hand side, approximately 500 yards away. RKA Kickboxing Academy takes pride in its team of instructors. Stuart Harris, the CEO, and founder of RKA, has a wealth of experience from karate, boxing, and kickboxing. He has competed at regional and national levels, winning various titles, and has represented England at international competitions. Stuart runs sport combat kickboxing classes and oversees the progress of the competition and fight teams.
Chief Instructor Paige Holly Harris has been involved in kickboxing since a young age and has trained with her father, Stuart, on a regular basis. Paige has won numerous regional, national, and international titles and has also represented England at an international level. She runs various classes at RKA, including juniors, and works closely with younger juniors to bring them up to a high standard. Paige also runs the ladies-only classes and leads the competition and development training.
Senior Instructor Paul Haddow is known for his infectious smile and passion for kickboxing. He has trained in kickboxing for several years and closely works and trains alongside the CEO, Stuart. Paul is dedicated to helping individuals get the best out of their training sessions and is always willing to lend a helping hand.
Coach Alex Spittal teaches the Saturday Full Contact / K1 Kickboxing sessions at RKA. Alex has competed at various levels and won silver at the 2022 WKU World Championship in both Light and Full Contact Kickboxing. Alongside kickboxing, Alex also studies Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and MMA. He is becoming more involved with the academy's higher-level fighters and will aid in their progression in the coming months.
