The Robinson Community Park – Outdoor Rink is open to the public between the hours of 5 a. m. and 11 p. m.
, weather and ice conditions permitting. The rink provides a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for individuals of all ages to lace up their skates and glide across the ice. Ice hockey enthusiasts can also enjoy a game on the rink, complete with nets for goal-scoring fun.
Please note that the outdoor rink may be closed until further notice due to melting ice and deteriorating conditions. It is important to cheque the Outdoor Ice Skating Map for ice locations and updates on rink availability. In addition, ice nets are placed on the rink when temperatures hold below -10 to prevent deterioration of the ice surface.
While the Robinson Community Park – Outdoor Rink offers a fantastic winter experience, it is significant to note that skating is not permitted on storm water ponds. However, an exception is made for the north pond at Alexandra Park, when ice conditions permit.
