Having undergone the esteemed Bai-See Ceremony, Sifu Rob Ley stands as the sole student of Grand Master Roland Tong to have comprehensively mastered the System. In recognition of his exceptional mastery of Ip Man Wing Chun, Sifu Ley was honoured with the prestigious title of Master of Ip Man Wing Chun by the World Martial Arts Council in 2014. His outstanding contributions to the field of martial arts were further recognised when he received the coveted Master of the Year award in 2015 at the Munich Hall of Honours and another honourable accolade at the Innsbruck Hall of Honours in July 2016.

The Rob Ley Academy was bestowed with the distinguished 'Martial Arts Family of the Year' accolade at the Munich Hall of Honours in 2022, solidifying their reputation in the field. In the following year, Sifu Rob Ley was honoured as the Ip Man Ving Tsun Master of the Year at the renowned World Hall of Honours in Atlantic City, USA.

As the Co-Founder of the International Ving Tsun/Jeet Kune Do Alliance, Sifu Robert Ley holds the esteemed position of Senior Instructor for the Ip Man Wing Chun Division.
