Our spacious 25-passenger rafts feature elevated wood floorboards to keep your feet dry throughout the trip. While this is not a whitewater adventure, guests may encounter a rogue splash along the way, so we recommend dressing appropriately for the weather and bringing cameras or mobile phones to capture the scenic views.

A professional photographer is available on site to capture the memorable moments of your mountain adventure. The tour begins at the base of Bow Falls near the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, with travellers floating approximately 7 kilometres down the Bow River past iconic landmarks such as Sleeping Buffalo, Cascade, and Tunnel Mountains. Wildlife sightings, water birds, and wildflowers along the riverbanks add to the natural beauty of the journey.
After passing the Hoodoos and reaching the towering north face of Mount Rundle, guests will be shuttled back to the starting point for a scenic ten-minute drive through mountain meadows. This leisurely float tour offers a close encounter with the majestic Canadian Rockies, with an approximate river time of one hour. The prices for the tour are $75 for adults and seniors, and $35 for children aged 2 to 15. Daily departures are available from May to September, with morning and afternoon options for convenience.
For visitors driving to the launch site, there is a 40-car parking lot available on Golf Course Road. Tickets can be purchased online and picked up at the reception kiosk at the Bow Falls launch site. Public transportation options include the Roam Transit Local Route 2, with service from June to September, and a day pass is recommended for convenience. For those who prefer walking, a leisurely 2-kilometer stroll from the Bow River Pedestrian Bridge downtown offers scenic views of Bow Falls and the surrounding landscape.
