Pauline would like to inform the sports community about Romanno Stud, situated in Biggar. This esteemed breeder of sports and show horses, with 160 acres of prime grazing land, includes a full AI facility with its own lab and scanner, an indoor arena, spacious loose boxes, and a dedicated team of qualified staff.

Romanno Stud prides itself on its impressive lineup of stallions: Deanhills Royal Jubilee, Deanhills Royal Portrait, Stanley Grange Regal Heights, Romanno Serendipity, Boss Junior, along with performance stallions Rubin Star N, Hochadel, LEspoir, and Faustinus. These stallions, known for their success in various disciplines, contribute valuable bloodlines for breeding.

The stud also has a variety of mares available, such as performance mare Romanno Burlesque. She is a full maternal sister to Romanno Rafiel, a former British Dressage National Champion, and half-sister to Romanno Ruinart, the former Shearwater Supreme Champion, and Bonita, the dam of two Premium Oldenburg stallions. Burlesque’s dam, St Pr St De La Rosa, was a breeding mare at the stud and gained elite status from the Oldenburg society due to her successful offspring. Burlesque herself earned the Oldenburg foal premium award.

Romanno Rubin’s Devine, another standout mare, is notable for her pedigree. Her sire is Rubin Star N, and her dam, Broadstone Dubonnet, was a county show winner and BHHS annual points winner.
