Are you the owner of Royal Meath Pitch & Putt Club?

Royal Meath Pitch and Putt Club in Clonee Village, Co. Meath is steeped in history and tradition. Founded in 1962 by Mr Paddy Fox and Mr Sean McWilliam, the course was designed by Jimmy Vaughan, the then PPUI President. Originally starting out with a makeshift clubhouse that was once a cinema, the club has grown over the years to have a spacious and varied amenity clubhouse completed in 1975.
The club has a rich history of hosting prestigious events, including all the PPUI National Majors. From the Inter-County championships in 1969 to the National Gents Strokeplay championships in 2005, Royal Meath has been a venue for top-level pitching and putting competitions. The course itself is known for its challenging holes, such as the tough pitching examination on the 5th hole and the 51 metre downhill 15th hole.
With members like Billy Lynch, one of the most influential PPUI Presidents, Royal Meath has a strong connexion to the world of international pitch and putt. The club is known for its dedication to the sport and the maintenance of its course, with members taking pride in the fairways and greens that have seen many moments of drama over the years.
Located in a convenient commuter village close to Dublin City, Royal Meath Pitch and Putt Club offers a unique and historic experience for golf enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned player or a beginner looking to get into the sport, Royal Meath welcomes all to come and enjoy its challenging course and rich heritage.
