Tom welcomes everyone to Rubba Duckies Swimming School, based in Guildford. As the organiser, he's partnered with STA and Aqua Sensory to provide a safe, enjoyable learning environment for children of all ages. With a skilled team of certified instructors, Tom offers a comprehensive swimming programme focused on water safety, skill development, and building confidence.
What makes Rubba Duckies unique is Tom's personalised approach to teaching. He recognises that each child is different and customises the teaching methods to suit each one. Rather than sticking to a standardised programme, Tom and his instructors take the time to understand each child's personality. They consider whether the child is outgoing or shy, nervous or confident, and even the parenting styles involved.
This thoughtful approach ensures that each child has a memorable learning experience in the water. Tom's dedicated instructors aim to teach swimming as a life skill while also fostering a love for the activity. By making lessons fun and engaging through play and praise, they encourage children to keep trying and not give up.
Tom values the sense of community and family at Rubba Duckies. His goal is to support not just the children, but also the staff and parents. Keeping class sizes small helps to build personal connections with each child, allowing the instructors to get to know their interests and develop relationships.
Rubba Duckies offers a variety of classes to suit different preferences and needs. Group classes have four swimmers per experienced teacher and are available exclusively at the Boxgrove venue. For a more tailored experience, 2-2-1 classes pair two swimmers with one teacher across all three of their venues. Private classes offer a one-to-one learning experience for swimmers of all ages, available at any of their locations.
Join Rubba Duckies Swimming School today and let your child dive into swimming. With Tom's attentive and personalised approach, your child will not only develop essential swimming skills but also gain confidence and a love for the water.
