A day, and had a poor diet. It wasn't until I hit rock bottom that I realised I needed to make a change.
I started running as a way to improve my fitness and overall well-being. It was a slow process at first, but with consistency and dedication, I saw a significant improvement in my physical and mental health. Running became my passion, and I wanted to share that passion with others.
That's when I decided to become a qualified personal trainer and recreational running coach. I wanted to help others discover the joy and benefits of running and exercise. I founded Run About Bendigo (RAB) as a way to create a supportive and inclusive training community.
At RAB, we offer a range of different weekly sessions to meet the needs of our community. Whether you're a beginner looking to start your fitness journey or an experienced runner aiming for a personal best, we have something for everyone. Our sessions are designed to challenge you, increase your fitness, and provide motivation and support along the way.
We understand that everyone is unique and has different fitness levels and abilities. That's why all our workouts are tailored to suit different fitness levels. We believe in the power of individualisation and ensure that everyone gets the personal attention and support they need to achieve their goals.
The RAB training community is all about having fun and enjoying the process. We guarantee a stress-free environment where you can sweat and smile at the same time. Our sessions are held at the bottom of Rosalind Park Poppethead in the Bendigo CBD, providing a beautiful and scenic location for our workouts.
If the weather isn't on our side, we have undercover options available, so you don't have to miss out on your training. We train rain, hail, or shine! And speaking of training, all our sessions are led by me, Peter King, a qualified personal trainer and Level 2 Recreational Running Coach. I'm dedicated to helping you achieve your running and fitness goals.
In addition to our group training sessions, we also offer personal training, run-specific coaching programmes, and small group or corporate group and club pre-season training. We believe in providing a well-rounded fitness experience that caters to all your needs.
But it's not all about training and workouts at RAB. We also organise fun social events and get-togethers to build a stronger sense of community. We believe that fitness is not just about physical health, but also about connecting with like-minded individuals and having a good time.
