The club was founded by Kamal Ganguly, a renowned Cricket coach who nurtured numerous star players over the years.
One of the oldest players of Saheed Sporting Club, Sidharth Das, affectionately known as Nanu Bhai, made significant contributions towards the development of the club before his untimely departure. His father, Mr. K. C. Das, continues to support and finance the club's renovation activities in memory of Nanu Bhai. The club organizes the Nanu Memorial Cup annually to honor his legacy and dedication to cricket.
