Salmon Kings Summer Swim Club

Welcome to the Campbell River Salmon Kings Summer Swim Club! Established in 1962 by Ms. Dot Andrews, the club has a long history of providing a fun and competitive swimming experience for the community. Originally located at Moose Falls, the club moved to various locations before settling at Centennial Pool, where it has continued to grow and improve over the years.

The summer of 2022 marked our 60th anniversary, and we celebrated with a season of special events and achievements.

At the Salmon Kings Summer Swim Club, we are committed to developing excellence and life skills through participation in competitive swimming. Our dedicated coaches and volunteers work hard to create a supportive and inclusive environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. We believe in promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth both in and out of the pool.

Our club offers a range of programs and events throughout the year, including practice schedules, swim meets, social activities, and more. Our Winter Maintenance Schedule is currently underway at Strathcona Gardens, with practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Registration is closed for maintenance, but we encourage interested swimmers to stay updated on future opportunities to join our club.

The club's Executive team plays a vital role in planning and organizing club activities, from coach hirings to season planning to meet coordination. Members of the Executive are always available to answer questions and provide support to swimmers and their families.
