Sambafriq is a community samba drumming band in Buckshaw Village, Chorley. Suitable for people who enjoy dance and rhythm, the group learns and explores carnival music and practices from around the world. Rehearsals and practice sessions run every Friday evening at the Lancaster Way Community Centre, and instruments are provided. Public events may involve a uniform dress code, and the band also offers opportunities to join and participate in samba and samba reggae fusion.
