Established in 1968 by the late Rasheswar Saikia Barbayan, a Sangeet Natak Akademi Award winner, Sangeet Sattra has been a pioneering institution dedicated to the all-round development and promotion of Sattriya Nritya, Borgeet (vocal), and Khol (instrumental) music.
Sangeet Sattra is more than just a dance school; it is a living testament to the rich artistic heritage of Assam.
