Located in the culturally rich town of Tripunithura, Sanskriti Kala Kendram is a premier arts and cultural academy committed to preserving the traditional values of Indian art and crafts. Established in January 2012 and with four branches spread in and around Kochi, the academy flourishes under the directorship of Mr. Nikhil Palluruthy, grandson of the legendary Kunjan Velu Bhagavathar—first guru of Padma Vibhooshan Dr. K.J. Yesudas. The academy, governed by the Sri Kunjan Velu Bhagavathar Foundation, seeks to foster an appreciation for classical art forms while enabling students to pursue their artistic passions with dedication and skill.
Sanskriti Kala Kendram offers a diverse range of classes including Classical Music, Classical Dance, Keyboard (Western), Guitar, Classical Violin, Western Violin, Veena, Tabla, Mridangam, Flute, and Drawing. Welcoming students from the age of five and above, the academy ensures a holistic approach in imparting knowledge—blending technical skill development with a deep understanding of Indian culture and music theory.
