SCC Rugby Academy

The SCC Rugby Academy in Singapore is a welcoming and diverse club that caters to players of all ages and skill levels, from both the local and expat communities. With players hailing from around 100 different schools in Singapore, the club prides itself on its inclusive and supportive environment.

Training sessions are held on Thursdays and Saturdays, with timings varying based on age groups. The club also offers a contact rugby group specifically for girls, providing a space for young female players to develop their skills and love for the game. Additionally, the club welcomes new players to try out touch rugby for free, encouraging participation and interest in the sport.

Established by members of the SCC rugby section, the SCC Rugby Academy has grown to over 600 young players since its inception. The academy focuses not only on winning games and tournaments, but also on helping boys and girls develop both their rugby skills and personal growth in a fun and inclusive setting. Furthermore, the academy provides Junior Scholarship Programmes to give local youth the opportunity to play rugby and promote the growth of women's rugby in Singapore.
