Head Coach Azfar Ali brings a wealth of international coaching experience to School of Judo, having managed the Singapore Judo National Team at various competitions. His coaching methodology focuses on teaching solid fundamental and technical Judo skills for both self-defence and sport. Coach Vincent Viceconte, a skilled Judo fighter with over 20 years of experience, is passionate about sharing the French style of Judo with students. Coach Dr.
Mike Hou, a black belt holder who started his Judo journey while serving in the Navy, believes in playing intelligent Judo and incorporates his expertise in psychology into his coaching.
At School of Judo, we offer a variety of classes to cater to different skill levels and interests. From Judo Fundamentals for newcomers and existing Judokas, to Judo Basics for all levels, to Judo Grappling Tactics for beginners and existing grapplers, there is a class for everyone. Our SOJxElite Fundamentals Class is specially designed for beginners and newcomers with no experience in Judo, focusing on building core strength and good posture.
