Young age and has achieved great success in her dancing career. She became a registered teacher with the Irish Dancing Commission (IDC) in Dublin and has been teaching Irish dance for over 10 years.
Katrina is dedicated to providing quality teaching to her students and sharing her love of dance with them. She believes in creating a caring and nurturing environment where students can develop their dance skills, build confidence, and express their creativity. Katrina is passionate about enriching positive attitudes and providing new and exciting challenges for her students.
At Scoil Rince Creer, students have the opportunity to learn Irish dance from pre-schoolers through to young adults. The classes cater to both those who dance for fun and fitness, as well as those who are interested in competing at a higher level. The school offers classes for all levels, from Beginners to Open dancers. Students can develop their skills and show off their fancy footwork at competitions registered with the Irish Dancing Commission in Dublin.
In addition to competitions, students at Scoil Rince Creer have various performance opportunities throughout the year. They can showcase their talents at events such as St. Patrick's Day celebrations, the Sydney Royal Easter Show, and corporate events. The school also offers the chance to participate in locally run competitions and Irish dance exams held by AIDA (NSW).
Scoil Rince Creer is part of the Carlingford School of Dance (CSOD), which allows dancers to cross-train with a range of classes available. This provides students with a well-rounded dance education and the chance to explore different styles and techniques.
