Scotia Speedworld

Scotia Speedworld, located in Goffs, is a car racing track in Eastern Canada. Since its grand opening in May 1988, the track has been a favourite for racers and spectators alike. The track has evolved from its original true oval configuration to the current D-shaped oval, providing exciting door-handle-to-door-handle racing for all divisions. Constant improvements have been made over the years to keep up with the times, making it the leadinge stock car racing facility in Eastern Canada.

The racing surface at Scotia Speedworld is wide and fast, ensuring thrilling races for both participants and spectators. The access and exit ramps between the pit area and the track, along with a large staging area, allow for smooth transitions behind the scenes, keeping the show moving and the audience engaged. Additionally, the paved pit road in the infield area allows fans to watch exciting pit-side action during special events from their grandstand seats.

Conveniently located opposite Halifax Stanfield International Airport and easily accessed from Highway 102, Scotia Speedworld is a high-profile auto racing facility in Eastern Canada, with over 12 million cars passing by yearly. The main grandstand comfortably seats more than 5,000 spectators, with an additional pit grandstand accommodating another 1,000. Both areas provide a complete view of the racing surface, ensuring an immersive experience for fans.

Free parking is plentiful for both the main grandstand and pit area, with additional parking available across the access road. Campers are welcome, with more than 100 units on hand for special events. The track's 42,000 watts of brilliant glare-free lighting provide clarity during evening events, ensuring every detail of the races is visible to spectators.

Scotia Speedworld's diverse facilities cater to visitors of all ages, with comfortable backrests for all seats in the main grandstand. The tower complex offers a V. I. P.

SkyBox, media work station, announcer and race control centres, as well as snack and souvenir stands and permanent restrooms. The flat midway area surrounding the base of the tower complex is popular for corporate display areas. Separate facilities for competitors are located in the pit area.

In addition to hosting auto racing entertainment, Scotia Speedworld is available for commercial rentals and race team practice sessions, making it a versatile and dynamic venue for car racing events.
